About this role
- Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor daily overdue payments, analyze early warning signs (SMA accounts), and track early-to-late stage defaults.
- Debtor Engagement: Contact delinquent borrowers via phone, field visits, and formal notices to assess repayment intent and capability.
- Negotiation & Resolution: Work out feasible payment plans, loan restructuring, or settlements within approved authorization limits.
- Field Visits & Asset Tracing: Conduct on-site visits to residences and businesses; trace absconding or non-responsive borrowers.
- Legal Coordination: Coordinate with internal legal teams and external counsel for issuing legal notices, filing recovery lawsuits, or executing asset repossessions/SARFAESI actions.
- Compliance & Ethics: Ensure strictly ethical recovery practices in accordance with regulatory bodies (e.g., RBI guidelines, fair practice codes).
