About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Officer to support the company's legal, contractual, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate should have experience in contract management, litigation support, legal documentation, and regulatory compliance, preferably within the infrastructure, construction, or real estate sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management

• Draft, review, vet, and negotiate various contracts, agreements, MoUs, NDAs, vendor agreements, subcontractor agreements, and service contracts.
• Identify legal risks and provide practical recommendations to mitigate them.
• Ensure contractual compliance and maintain contract records.

Litigation & Dispute Management

• Coordinate with external advocates and legal consultants on ongoing cases.
• Assist in handling litigation, arbitration, consumer disputes, and other legal proceedings.
• Track case progress and maintain litigation records.

Legal Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Support management in implementing legal and regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory bodies as required.

Documentation & Advisory

• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions on business matters.
• Review title documents, legal notices, and correspondence.
• Prepare and maintain legal documentation and records.
• Support business teams with legal guidance on contracts and commercial transactions.

Risk Management

• Identify potential legal risks associated with projects and business operations.
• Recommend preventive legal measures and compliance frameworks.
• Assist in resolving contractual and operational disputes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B.) Mandatory
• Enrollment with State Bar Council preferred.
• Experience in Infrastructure, Construction, EPC, or Real Estate industry will be an added advantage.
