About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support our legal team in managing contracts, conducting legal research, and assisting in compliance-related activities. This role offers valuable exposure to corporate legal functions and provides an opportunity to develop strong drafting and analytical skills in a professional environment.
Why This Role Exists The Legal Intern will assist the legal team in ensuring efficient contract management, legal compliance, and documentation processes. The role is designed to provide practical experience in corporate law while supporting ongoing legal and compliance initiatives across the organization.
What Youll Actually Do Contract Drafting & Documentation - Assist in drafting, reviewing, and amending contracts, agreements, addendums, NDAs, and other legal documents.
- Ensure proper maintenance of contract records and legal documentation.
- Support the legal team in contract lifecycle management activities.
- Conduct research on corporate, commercial, employment, data privacy, and intellectual property laws.
- Prepare legal summaries, briefs, and notes on various legal and regulatory matters.
- Track changes in laws and regulations relevant to the business.
- Assist in reviewing privacy policies, consent forms, and compliance documentation.
- Support data protection and compliance initiatives.
- Help maintain records related to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
- Conduct research on trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property matters.
- Assist in maintaining IP-related records and documentation.
- Support the legal team in safeguarding the companys intellectual property interests.
- Organize and maintain legal files and records.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for legal documentation requirements.
- Support special legal projects and other assignments as required.
- Final-year LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. / B.B.A. LL.B. student.
- No prior internship experience required.
- Strong contract drafting and legal writing skills.
- Good understanding of contract law and legal documentation.
- Basic knowledge of Data Privacy and Intellectual Property Laws.
- Strong research and analytical abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
