Position: Legal Intern

Location: Mumbai

Duration: 3-6 Months (can be extended based on performance)

Reporting To: Company Secretary

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support the Legal Department in handling legal research, contract management, compliance activities, and documentation. This internship will provide practical exposure to corporate legal functions and an opportunity to work closely with legal professionals on various business matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory matters.
• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents.
• Support the legal team in maintaining contract repositories and legal records.
• Track legal and regulatory updates and prepare summaries for internal stakeholders.
• Assist in compliance-related activities and documentation.
• Coordinate with internal departments for legal documentation and approvals.
• Support in preparing case briefs, legal notices, and responses, where required.
• Organize and maintain legal files, databases, and records.
• Assist in due diligence exercises and corporate secretarial matters.
• Perform other legal and administrative tasks assigned by the legal team.

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Pursuing LL.B. (3-year or 5-year course) from a recognized university.
• Final-year students or recent law graduates preferred.
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate law, and legal research methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
