Job Purpose

To lead the Legal & Corporate Compliance function, manage legal and regulatory risks, ensure compliance with applicable laws, handle litigation and commercial contracts, and provide strategic legal support to management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage corporate legal matters, litigation, arbitration, legal notices and disputes.
• Handle regulatory legal matters under applicable Drugs & Cosmetics, AYUSH, FSSAI and Cosmetics regulations.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, distributor, vendor, manufacturing and export agreements.
• Advise management on corporate laws, governance, employment laws and legal risk management.
• Review product claims, labelling, advertisements and promotional materials from a legal perspective.
• Manage trademarks, intellectual property rights and brand protection.
• Coordinate with regulatory authorities, external advocates and legal consultants.
• Support international business contracts and export-related legal matters.
• Monitor legal developments, maintain compliance trackers and implement preventive legal measures.
• Coordinate with QA, Regulatory Affairs, HR, Finance and other departments on legal compliance.

Candidate Profile

• LL.B. from a recognised university.
• 1218 years of relevant legal experience, preferably with 7–10 years in Pharma, Ayurveda, Cosmetics or FMCG.
• Strong experience in regulatory legal matters, commercial contracts, litigation and corporate compliance.
• Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, analytical and leadership skills.
• In-house legal experience in a manufacturing organisation is preferred.
• B.Pharm + LL.B. and LL.M. will be added advantages.
