Legal Head

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee contract management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing commercial agreements.
• Manage and supervise all litigation matters, coordinating with external counsels and ensuring effective resolution.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements with respect to food industry.
• Drive regulatory and legal compliance across business operations.
• Provide transaction advisory support for strategic business initiatives.
• Handle legal due diligence, structuring, and documentation for Mergers & Acquisitions.
• Advise leadership on all legal aspects of M&A deals, including risk assessment, deal structuring, negotiations, and post-merger integration.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to mitigate legal risks and support business growth.
• Develop and implement legal policies, processes, and governance frameworks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate legal affairs.
• LLB graduate. LLM is good to have
• Strong expertise in:
• Contract Management
• Litigation Management
• Regulatory Compliance
• Transaction Advisory
• Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
• Corporate and Commercial Law
• Experience handling complex commercial transactions and stakeholder management.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work closely with CXOs and business leadership.
