Legal Executive

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & PERFORMACE INDICATORS

  Review and draft routine and standard contracts such as NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements and other documents primarily for the Jewellery Division (including International Business) in a time-bound manner and in accordance with established positions.

  Review of complex agreements and other legal documentation by conducting preliminary reviews, identifying key issues, and highlighting risks requiring detailed legal analysis.

  Review routine customer-facing materials, terms and conditions, disclaimers and standard business communications, and conduct preliminary review of complex campaigns, promotional initiatives and strategic matters.

  Conduct preliminary negotiations with counterparties on standard contractual terms and business positions.

  Identify and assess risks in contracts and highlight critical issues. Prepare contract deviation notes, risk summaries and recommendations for business stakeholders.

  Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for contract execution, collection of documents to ensure end-to-end closure of contracts.

  Review and respond to routine legal and customer queries, liaise with relevant stakeholders to gather information and draft initial responses for complex issues.

  Conduct in-depth legal research and prepare notes on applicable laws, regulations, government notifications, and regulatory guidelines. Track changes in applicable laws, regulations and industry practices and prepare suitable updates for dissemination.

  Maintain and update legal templates, clause banks, playbooks, legal precedents, trackers and related documentation to support efficient contract management, legal operations and knowledge management.

  Demonstrate strong digital acumen, including the effective use of legal-tech solutions, contract management systems and AI tools to streamline legal processes and support informed decision-making.

  Undertake such other related responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

QUALIFICATIONS

LLB from a reputed university. Fresh graduate or candidate with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
