Legal Executive / Corporate Legal

Role & responsibilities :

We are looking for a Legal Executive to support the Legal function in contract drafting and vetting, legal documentation, MIS and coordination on various legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently draft and vet standard and non-standard agreements, contracts and legal notices.
• Handle non-litigation legal documentation, including agreements, notices and legal opinions.
• Review legal documents and identify key legal issues and risks.
• Prepare and maintain MIS, trackers and reports related to contracts, legal notices and litigations.
• Maintain proper records and ensure timely tracking and closure of legal matters.
• Support the Legal Head in legal research, preparation of legal opinions and other legal assignments.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external lawyers/consultants for follow-ups and resolution of legal matters.
• Provide support to the Legal Head on day-to-day legal and business-related matters.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualification: LLB / LLM
• Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in handling non-litigation legal documentation, including agreements, notices and legal opinions.
• Prior experience in the Consumer / FMCG industry will be preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive approach and having team spirit and accountability
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability
• Hands-on proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
