Role Summary:
Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating global IT commercial contracts. Provides legal support across departments, ensures contract compliance, and manages legal risk in international operations.
What Youll Do:
- Draft, vet, review, and negotiate agreements and legal documents, including HR, procurement, engineering, telecom, IT, and lease agreements
- Coordinate with legal, technical, HR, Admin, Finance, Procurement, external Legal Counsels, and other departments
- Examine and summarize customer MSA, NDA, MOU, End User Licensing Agreement, Subcontractor/Vendor Agreement, RFP at the global level
- Advise and assist key departments on contractual matters; act as a strategic business advisor
- Draft alternative clauses as needed
- Negotiate agreements with vendors and customers in conjunction with sales teams
- Provide regular training to user teams on executed contracts and compliance
- Conduct detailed research on legal issues/projects
- Update contract database/legal repository
- Handle litigation matters as required
- Manage general administrative duties
- Stay updated with technology applications in the legal field
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- LLB or LLM degree from a recognized law school
- Experience in international contract/commercial law and contract management
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and drafting skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize a heavy and variable workload
- Proven attention to detail
- Good negotiation skills for internal and external agreements
- Knowledge of GDPR, global data privacy laws, and regulations
Good to Have (Optional - only if mentioned):
- Experience in engineering, telecom, or IT sector
- Experience in global or multicultural companies
- Experience in dealing with external customers/clients
- Ability to manage a team
