Qualifications & Skills

• Education: LL.B. from a recognized university; LL.M. in corporate or technology law an advantage.

• Experience: 7+ years of progressive legal and compliance experience, including in-house leadership in the IT/ITES/BPO or technology sector, with substantial exposure to multi-state Indian labour and employment compliance.

• Knowledge:
• Indian corporate law (Companies Act, 2013) and IT/outsourcing regulations
• Multi-state labour & employment compliance, including the state Shops & Establishments Acts
• Indias new Labour Codes and wage codes
• Data privacy & cybersecurity regulations, including Indias DPDPA and applicable US laws (CCPA, HIPAA)
• Skills:
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge of corporate, labour, and commercial contracting matters
• Ability to manage compliance across Indian and US legal frameworks
• Analytical and problem-solving approach
