Legal Associate / Attorney-US Construction, Insurance & Litigation Sup

The Role

We are hiring ONE top-notch, young, energetic attorney to become the legal engine of our group. You will draft, coordinate, negotiate, and expedite working directly with ownership and alongside top US attorneys on construction disputes, insurance claims, mechanic's liens, lawsuits, and real estate matters. Full training on US (New York / New Jersey / Connecticut) law and procedure will be provided. You bring elite drafting skill, speed, relentless follow-through, and hunger to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft contracts: construction agreements, subcontractor agreements, change orders, and settlement agreements
• Draft lawsuits, complaints, demand letters, notices of default, and legal submissions under the supervision of our US attorneys
• Support mechanic's lien preparation, filing coordination, and enforcement actions
• Insurance claim support: assemble claim documentation, coordinate with adjusters and carriers, and track every claim to resolution
• Negotiate and follow up with vendors, subcontractors, opposing parties, and insurance representatives
• Expedite everything: manage court and filing deadlines, litigation calendars, and attorney follow-ups nothing slips, ever
• Conduct legal research on US construction, lien, insurance, and real estate law
• Maintain live case trackers and deliver weekly litigation/claims status reports to ownership

Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Must commit to FULL-TIME US Eastern Time working hours (approx. 6:30 PM 3:30 AM IST) — non-negotiable
• LL.B. from a top-tier law school; enrolled with the Bar Council of India
• 2–5 years of experience in litigation, contracts, or commercial law (outstanding freshers with elite drafting skills considered)
• Young, energetic, and hard-working — thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Elite English drafting and communication — precise, persuasive, and error-free
• Quick learner — able to rapidly adapt to US laws, court procedures, and American business style
• Natural coordinator and negotiator — persistent, organized, and relentless on follow-through
• Pleasant personality — a genuine pleasure to work with
• Three professional references (mandatory — will be verified)
• Long-term mindset — wants to grow with the company into a senior legal leadership role
