Legal and Compliance Associate

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective governance structures for fundraising activities.
• Provide legal guidance on corporate law matters related to funding, including drafting contracts and agreements.
• Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation for investor relations, reporting, and other stakeholder communications.

Job Requirements :

• 2-3.5 years of experience in a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of corporate law, particularly in relation to fundraising and investment activities.
• Experience with legal compliance procedures for securities offerings, venture capital deals, or private equity transactions.
• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
