Lead UI Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative UI/UX Lead to oversee the design and front-end development efforts across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will lead a team of UI/UX designers and developers, ensuring timely delivery, design consistency, and technical excellence. Strong expertise in team management, project assignment, and code review is essential. Experience in government or large-scale enterprise projects will be an added advantage.

• Lead and mentor the UI/UX team, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Assign tasks, manage workloads, and monitor progress across multiple ongoing projects.
• Review design prototypes, front-end code, and ensure adherence to UI/UX best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and development teams to translate business requirements into functional designs.
• Oversee the entire design lifecycle - from wireframes and mockups to high-fidelity prototypes and final implementation.
• Conduct usability testing and ensure accessibility and responsiveness across devices.
• Define and maintain design systems, style guides, and reusable UI components.
• Ensure code quality through regular code reviews and enforce front-end best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies to ensure timely and high-quality deliveries.
• Coordinate with QA teams to validate UI functionality and consistency.

• Bachelor s/Master s degree in Computer Science, Digital Design, HCI, or related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in UI/UX roles with at least 3+ years in a leadership or team lead capacity.
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue (React preferred).
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
• Deep understanding of UX research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
• Experience managing and mentoring development and design teams.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, mobile-first UI, and accessibility (WCAG) principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience working on government or e-governance projects.
• Familiarity with secure UI design standards applicable in public sector systems.
• Exposure to AI-based dashboards or analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud deployment environments (AWS, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• A collaborative mindset with attention to quality and detail.
