Job Description

Role: Senior Service Test Automation Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Level 5/4

Who are we looking for?

Lead Service Test Automation Engineer / Senior SDET responsible for designing, building,

and scaling automated testing across service, API, and web layers. The role requires

strong hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, BDD/TDD practices, and

CI/CD integration, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality test coverage in

fast-moving delivery environments.

Expected Work experience: 15+years experience

Primary Skill: Test Automation/API Testing

Technical Skills:

Lead Service Test Automation Engineer / Senior SDET responsible for designing, building,

and scaling automated testing across service, API, and web layers. The role requires

strong hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks, BDD/TDD practices, and

CI/CD integration, with a focus on delivering reliable, high-quality test coverage in

fast-moving delivery environments.

• Strong experience in C# and .NET-based test automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks such as Reqnroll/SpecFlow/Cucumber.
• Experience with test runners such as NUnit/xUnit/MSTest
• API testing experience using REST clients and HTTP-based automation.
• Experience in integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or

similar CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong understanding of test strategy, test design, data-driven testing, and

automation architecture.

• Experience with Azure, SQL, and service-based application environments is

desirable.
