Lead Test Automation Manager (US Healthcare Payer)

Job Summary

Looking for a Lead Test Automation Engineer / Engineering Manager (Quality Engineering) with 14+ years of experience in Automation Testing and strong US Healthcare Payer domain expertise. The ideal candidate may currently be working as an Engineering Manager, QA Manager, QE Manager, Test Automation Lead, or Technical Project Manager (QA/QE) and should have hands-on experience with Tosca, Playwright, Selenium, API Testing, EDI Validation, and Healthcare Payer Applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QE and Test Automation initiatives across Healthcare Payer programs.
• Drive automation framework development using Tosca, Playwright, and Selenium.
• Oversee testing for Claims, Enrollment, Provider, Eligibility, and Care Management modules.
• Validate EDI transactions including 834, 837, 835, 270/271, and 278.
• Lead API testing and integration validation across enterprise systems.
• Manage QA teams, stakeholders, delivery quality, and release governance.
• Mentor automation engineers and promote QA best practices.

Must-Have Skills

• 14+ years in QA/Test Automation/Quality Engineering.
• Strong US Healthcare Payer domain experience.
• Expertise in Tosca, Playwright, Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with EDI Testing (834, 837, 835, 270/271, 278).
• Strong knowledge of Claims, Enrollment, Provider, and Eligibility modules.
• Experience with REST/SOAP API Testing and SQL Validation.
• Team management experience (10+ members preferred).
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, and Marketplace programs.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FHIR, HL7, X12 standards.
• Exposure to Facets, QNXT, HealthRules, or similar Healthcare platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
• AI-driven test automation and quality engineering initiatives.
