Lead Technical Consultant

We are looking for Software Engineers who want to solve enterprise problems, not simply write code. You will work directly with the technology organizations of major banks to design and deliver how Zafin fits into highly complex banking ecosystems. The role combines solution architecture, engineering depth, consulting, and client leadership. You should be equally credible discussing architecture with a bank CTO organization and working with engineers to resolve a difficult integration problem.

Responsibilities:

• Translate banking and business requirements into robust technical architectures.
• Design integrations across core banking, APIs, event platforms, data, and cloud services.
• Lead technical workshops and architecture/design reviews with clients.
• Build and guide implementation using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
• Advise clients on integration patterns, scalability, resilience, and cloud architecture.
• Troubleshoot complex distributed-system and production issues.
• Partner with Zafin Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams.
• Identify reusable implementation patterns and accelerators.
• Mentor technical consultants and raise engineering standards across customer enablement.

Requirements:

• We are particularly interested in architects and senior engineers from leading consulting and systems transformation practices; Microsoft, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Red Hat, Atlassian, Intuit, and other high-quality engineering/product organizations; and high-growth enterprise SaaS companies.
• Deep Java/Spring Boot engineering capability, REST/API architecture.
• Experience in Kafka/event-driven architecture and relational/data architecture.
• Azure or comparable cloud experience.
• Experience in Docker/Kubernetes and modern CI/CD, enterprise integration patterns.
• Experience with distributed, mission-critical systems and strong customer-facing consulting ability.
• Banking technology experience is strongly preferred.
