Lead Software Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer C/C++ Development with strong expertise in database connectivity, data migration, and enterprise integration technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-performance database connectors and data integration solutions while providing technical leadership and mentoring engineering teams. This role requires deep technical expertise in C/C++, database technologies, and modern software engineering practices across cloud and on-premises environments.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of database connectors, endpoint solutions, and integration components.
• Develop high-performance and scalable solutions using C/C++ for enterprise data integration platforms.
• Design and troubleshoot complex database connectivity and interoperability challenges.
• Build and enhance connectors using ODBC, JDBC, database drivers, SDKs, and APIs.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to define technical solutions and implementation strategies.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis for complex integration challenges.
• Support data migration, data replication, CDC, ETL, and enterprise integration initiatives.
• Work closely with product management, QA, infrastructure, and customer teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment practices using Jenkins and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices, quality standards, and reusable design patterns.
• Contribute to technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
• Support cloud-native integration initiatives across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 7-10 years of hands-on software development experience with strong proficiency in C/C++.
• Expertise in database connectivity technologies including ODBC, JDBC, drivers, connectors, and SDK-based integrations.
• Strong understanding of SQL, database internals, query processing, and database architecture.
• Experience working on data migration, data replication, CDC, ETL, or enterprise integration platforms.
• Knowledge of database connectivity frameworks, APIs, and data access layers.
• Working knowledge of Java and/or Python.
• Experience with Linux and Windows development environments.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD implementation.
• Understanding of software design principles, performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise-grade software solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application deployment models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging capabilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, and leadership skills.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and collaborate effectively across global teams.
