About this role
The Lead Software Engineer will be a senior individual contributor responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems while providing technical mentorship to other engineers.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software applications.
- Own major technical components and services.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code.
- Participate in system and architecture design.
- Lead technical initiatives from conception to production.
- Conduct code and design reviews.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems.
- Improve application performance and scalability.
- Build APIs and distributed services.
- Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Product, and Architecture teams.
- Mentor other engineers.
- Contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Preferred Candidate Requirements
- 6-10 years of professional software development.
- Strong experience with Java, Python, .NET, Go, or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Cloud experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is preferred.
- Strong testing and CI/CD experience.
