Responsibilities

• Engineer enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Define and implement microservices architectures deployed on cloud platforms
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
• Run code reviews and coach team members on technical best practices
• Influence architectural decisions to ensure quality, security, reliability, and compliance standards are met
• Use Agile and DevOps best practices across the software development lifecycle
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and support continuous delivery execution
• Resolve complex technical issues across the application stack through troubleshooting
• Deploy and manage services using containerization and orchestration tools

Requirements

• Demonstrated 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building with Java 21, Quarkus, and Java/JEE
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Security, and JUnit testing
• Strong database experience with Oracle, Sybase, and PL/SQL
• Solid background in microservices architecture plus Azure Cloud and Serverless approaches
• Excellent understanding of Kubernetes primitives such as pods, containers, services, and Istio
• Hands-on experience working with Docker and Redis
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs and integrating backend services with frontend
• Familiarity with Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

Nice to have

• Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and React (including Hooks)
• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with performance tuning and DevOps
• Ability to implement UX designs into responsive, scalable, maintainable UI solutions using standards and patterns
