Lead Software Engineer - Java with Spring Boot

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Architect and roll out microservices-based solutions deployed on cloud platforms
• Build and expose RESTful APIs to connect backend services with frontend applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce scalable, maintainable solutions
• Lead code reviews and mentor engineers with hands-on technical guidance
• Drive architectural decisions to meet quality, security, reliability, and compliance standards
• Apply Agile and DevOps best practices across the software development lifecycle
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and enable continuous delivery workflows
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across the full application stack
• Work with containerization and orchestration tools to deploy and operate services

Requirements

• Hands-on experience of 5+ years designing and developing with Java 21, Quarkus, and Java/JEE
• Expert-level knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Security, and JUnit
• Solid background working with relational databases including Oracle, Sybase, and PL/SQL
• Proven track record with microservices architecture, Azure Cloud, and Serverless
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts such as pods, containers, services, and Istio
• Practical experience using Docker and Redis in production environments
• Strong skills in building RESTful APIs and integrating backend services with frontend
• Working knowledge of Git/GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and React (including Hooks)
• Familiarity with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with performance tuning and DevOps practices
• Ability to implement UX designs into responsive, scalable, maintainable UI solutions using industry standards and patterns
