Lead Snowflake Data Engineer

Role:

As a Lead Snowflake Data Engineer at R Systems, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data solutions using Snowflake. You will collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performance data platforms that support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable data models and data pipelines using Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for integrating data from multiple sources.
• Work with AWS services such as S3, Glue, and Lambda.
• Ensure data quality, security, governance, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with BI teams to integrate data with Power BI.
• Lead technical delivery, troubleshoot issues, and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or data architecture.
• Strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL, data modeling, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration.
• Knowledge of AWS services and Power BI.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and technical leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Snowflake certification.
• Experience with cloud-based data architecture and enterprise analytics.
