Lead SRE / SRE Practitioner – AI Platform Experience: 6 –10 Years |

Job Description We are hiring a SRE / SRE Practitioner to implement and drive Site Reliability Engineering practices for AI-based platforms built on AWS and Kubernetes. The candidate will be responsible for defining reliability standards, building observability systems, and working with engineering teams to ensure platform stability and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Define and implement SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets for platform and AI services
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and blameless postmortems
• Design and build observability for LLM systems, RAG pipelines, and agent workflows
• Track AI-specific metrics such as Time-to-First-Token (TTFT), token usage, and response latency
• Build and manage observability stack — Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger/Tempo, OpenTelemetry
• Develop dashboards for engineering, operations, and management teams
• Implement SLO-based alerting and reduce alert noise
• Monitor and manage AWS services — EKS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch
• Ensure Kubernetes reliability — pod health, resource usage, scaling
• Write Python scripts for health checks, custom exporters, and automation
• Integrate observability into CI/CD pipelines
• Work with engineering and product teams to improve system reliability
• Mentor team members on SRE practices and observability

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in SRE / DevOps / Platform Engineering
• Experience with SLI, SLO, and Error Budget implementation
• Hands-on with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger / Tempo
• AWS — EKS, EC2, S3, CloudWatch
• Kubernetes — production-level experience
• Python — mandatory
• Understanding of LLM-based systems, RAG architecture, and async processing
• Experience with distributed tracing and microservices observability

Good to Have

• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Elasticsearch)
• Exposure to agent-based AI workflows
• Experience in high-scale Kubernetes environments
