Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead to manage critical production support activities and lead a team supporting global SAP Finance and Controlling operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in SAP FICO, excellent troubleshooting skills, and hands-on experience handling high-priority (P1/P2) incidents while ensuring adherence to SLAs and business continuity.

The role requires strong leadership capabilities, stakeholder management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement within a global AMS environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Incident Management

• Lead SAP FICO production support for business-critical applications.
• Manage and resolve P1/P2 incidents within agreed SLAs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional SAP teams during major incidents.
• Perform impact analysis and drive quick issue resolution to minimize business disruption.
• Participate in incident bridges and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
  
  

Functional Support

• Support SAP FI modules including:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Asset Accounting (AA)
• Bank Accounting
• Tax Configuration
• Support SAP CO modules including:
• Cost Center Accounting
• Internal Orders
• Profit Center Accounting
• Product Costing
• Profitability Analysis (COPA)
• Resolve functional issues involving month-end and year-end closing activities.
  

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead a team of SAP FICO consultants supporting global business operations.
• Allocate incidents, monitor workloads, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Mentor junior consultants and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Review solutions before deployment to production.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices and incident management processes.
  
  

Change & Problem Management

• Analyze recurring issues and drive permanent fixes.
• Support change requests and minor enhancements.
• Coordinate transport management across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation and knowledge articles.
  
  

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with business users, project teams, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding incident trends and system health.
• Participate in CAB meetings and production release activities.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP FICO configuration and production support.
• Expertise in handling P1/P2 production incidents.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred Skills

• SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• SAP Fiori knowledge.
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager, ServiceNow, or similar ITSM tools.
• Exposure to SAP Central Finance is an advantage.
• SAP Certification in SAP FICO or SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.
  
  

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• MBA (Finance) or CA/CMA qualification is an added advantage.
