Lead RTOC Engineer

Job Summary

The above position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations associated with the RTOC, including pre drill planning and real time monitoring, resource allocation, clear and concise reporting of all well site activities and events and providing all support to the drilling & completion activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RTOC operations. QA/QC of the RTOC functions and reports.
• Assist in efficient drilling and completion of wells by analysing of drilling parameters in real time against predictive model for the D & C Operations.
• Risk tracking and risk mitigation in well planning and well design prior and during the drilling phase.
• Provide decision support to the drilling team with the aim of improving drilling performance by monitoring mud logging and MWD/LWD data in real time at RTOC.
• Reporting of Anomalies and Interventions to concern Rig Teams within the least possible time eventually helps in reducing the NPT and financial losses.
• Preparation of End of Well Reports, and Event Analysis Reports.
• RTOC data management.
• Mentor the RTOC team members.

Education

• Bachelor Degree in Petroleum Engineering
• Extensive experience in Real time data monitoring & optimization of well.

Experience

• 10 years in Drilling Operations

• Real time data monitoring operations in HPHT and/or under-balanced drilling and/or extended reach drilling environments
• Well planning and drilling optimization software
• Leadership
