Lead Quality Assurance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute

manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on functional and business requirements.

• Perform

REST API testing using Postman or similar API testing tools, including functional, integration, negative, and regression testing.

• Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive

test plans, test cases, test data, and test documentation .

• Identify, document, track, and validate defects throughout the software testing lifecycle.
• Perform

data validation using SQL queries and verify backend data against expected application results.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing across web/API applications.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve defects.
• Participate in

Agile ceremonies , including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Perform root-cause analysis of defects and provide clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Maintain accurate test execution reports and communicate testing status, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Required Skills & Eligibility
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Manual Testing and API Testing.
• Strong understanding of

SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies, and defect management processes .

• Hands-on experience with

REST API testing using Postman or similar tools .

• Experience creating, executing, and maintaining

test cases, test scenarios, test data, and test documentation .

• Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for database and data validation.
• Good understanding of

functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing .

• Familiarity with

Agile/Scrum development methodologies and software development practices.

• Strong understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, request/response validation, headers, authentication, and JSON/XML formats.
• Experience working with defect management and test management tools such as

Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms .

• Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
