Lead QA Engineer - System Integration Testing

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the testing efforts for system integration projects, ensuring all components function together effectively.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects and issues using appropriate tools, ensuring timely resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and integration points.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on quality and testability.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality within the team.
- Continuously improve testing processes and practices to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Report test progress, results, and insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency in the QA process.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including system integration testing.
- Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
- Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, QTP, or similar.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
- Knowledge of APIs and web services testing (REST/SOAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products.
- Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies is a plus.
