Lead- Project Head

Role & responsibilities

To lead and manage the end-to-end execution of residential construction projects, ensuring timely completion, cost efficiency, quality standards, safety compliance, and adherence to approved project specifications. The role involves overseeing project planning, execution, budgeting, contractor management, stakeholder coordination, and delivery of residential developments.

Project Planning & Execution

• Lead the end-to-end execution of residential projects, including high-rise buildings, residential complexes, and housing developments.
• Develop project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and execution strategies to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor construction progress against approved plans and take corrective actions to address delays.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, contracts, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and other project resources.

Cost & Budget Management

• Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost estimates, and cash flow requirements.
• Control project expenditure and ensure execution within approved budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
• Review contractor bills, variations, change orders, and additional work claims.
• Monitor project costs and report budget variances to senior management.

Safety & Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental requirements at the project site.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure implementation of safety procedures.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and internal teams for statutory approvals, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to applicable building regulations, labour laws, environmental requirements, and project-specific approvals.

Quality Assurance & Control

• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures across all project stages.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, and rectification of construction defects.
• Ensure proper documentation of quality records and compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.
