Lead Product Owner - Corporate Actions

Role Overview :

As a Lead Product Owner specializing in Corporate Actions, you will serve as the bridge between complex financial business requirements and technical execution. You will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the backlog, and ensuring that the development team delivers high-value features that streamline the lifecycle of corporate events. Working closely with global stakeholders, business analysts, and engineering squads, you will drive the roadmap for sophisticated financial platforms, ensuring that the final output meets rigorous regulatory standards and operational efficiency goals. This role is pivotal in shaping the product strategy for mission-critical systems that handle high-volume financial data.

Job Description:

- 8+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership within financial services.

- Strong hands-on experience in the Corporate Actions domain.

- Experience working with capital markets, securities processing, asset servicing, or investment banking platforms.

- Strong understanding of Corporate Action lifecycle and downstream impacts on securities and accounts.

- Experience creating and managing product backlogs and prioritizing features.

- Strong experience writing epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Ability to work effectively with technology, operations, product, and business teams.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Knowledge of SQL and ability to perform basic data analysis.

- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile/product management tools.

- Exposure to regulatory and market-practice requirements related to Corporate Actions.
