Lead Product Designer

Signature Pharmacy and SignatureRx are an award-winning online pharmacy and digital e-prescription and consultation platform in the UK. Our software team works remotely across the UAE, Pakistan, and India. This is a chance to take ownership of design at a fast-growing healthtech company — we'll offer a relocation package to the UAE for the right candidate. We're looking for a Lead Product Designer who treats AI as core infrastructure, not a shortcut — someone who can go from concept to a working, high-fidelity prototype in hours using tools like Figma AI, v0, Cursor, or similar, and who's comfortable vibecoding functional interfaces rather than just handing off static mockups. You'll report directly to the CEO and own all design output across the business — setting direction, standards, and execution across product and brand.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design across web and internal applications — from user flows and wireframes through high-fidelity UI and functional prototypes
• Report directly to the CEO and be accountable for all design output across the company
• Set design direction and standards; establish and maintain a design system as the product and team scale
• Use AI tools to compress the design-to-build cycle: rapid prototyping, AI-assisted design generation, and vibecoded front-end builds that engineering can take further
• Partner directly with product managers, engineers, and leadership to ship designs that are both beautiful and practical
• Own social media, branding, and marketing design — including logo design, brand consistency across markets, and content across platforms
• Own pitch deck and presentation design for leadership and investor-facing needs
• Proactively suggest product features and improvements, not just execute on requests
• Drive iteration based on feedback, testing, and real-world usage
• Balance and prioritise across multiple product and brand projects
• As the team grows, help hire and mentor supporting design talent

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a senior or lead product designer, ideally having owned a design function or built a design system from scratch
• Fluent with AI-assisted design and build tools (e.g. Figma AI, v0, Cursor, Lovable, or similar) — able to produce working prototypes, not just static screens
• Strong visual design fundamentals: layout, typography, colour, spacing
• Deep experience with Figma and modern design/wireframing workflows
• Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving, remote-first environment, and taking ownership of outcomes without close oversight
• Experience designing healthcare products preferred
• Experience owning brand guidelines and adapting brand design across different markets
• Strong communication skills — able to work directly with executive leadership and influence product and business decisions, not just execute on them
• A product mindset — comfortable proposing feature ideas and improvements, not just designing what's asked for

What success looks like (6–12 months)

• Design output overhauled to be AI-first, with a clear, repeatable process in place across the design team
• Design turnaround measured in hours and days rather than weeks — from concept to high-fidelity or functional prototype
• A functioning design system in place, adopted across product and brand
• Visible improvement in product features shaped by design-led suggestions, not just design execution
• Demonstrate increase in user engagement and metrics through UI//UX enhancements
