About this role
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex optics systems, including optical design, lens design, and tolerance analysis.
- Develop expertise in various tools such as Zemax OpticStudio, CODE V, Stary Light Analysis, Ray Tracing, Optical Simulation, MTF (Measurement Transfer Function), and Optical Testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results on time.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10-15 years of experience in Optics Design Engineering or related field.
- Master's degree in Electronics/Telecommunication (M.Tech).
- Strong understanding of EO/IR sensors and their applications.
- Proficiency in working with MWIR/LWIR technologies.
