 Responsibilities

Strategic & Planning

• Develop a culture of continual improvement across manufacturing operations.
• Implement Teamcenter in Mechanical Engineering.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives without compromising product quality.

Functional Responsibilities

• Conduct design reviews to identify manufacturing challenges and facilitate technical discussions before approving drawings.
• Perform risk assessment during the design phase.
• Define Make or Buy strategy for parts based on criticality to ensure RFT.
• Develop working standards, SOPs, routings, and manufacturing process designs for fabricated and machined components.
• Conduct work measurement and method studies to optimize existing processes.
• Lead new product execution projects.
• Design and develop jigs and fixtures.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Generate cost-saving ideas and perform component cost estimation.
• Provide technical support to production and suppliers in development activities.
