Lead Member - Proposal Engineering

Position: Lead Member - Proposal Engineering (PW812FT RM 4310)

Qualification : B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production, Automation, or related engineering discipline.

Experience

• 8 to 12 years of experience in Proposal Engineering, Machine Design
• Experience in system design, machine architecture, and component selection, with the ability to develop technical solutions and prepare proposals based on machine concepts
• Experience in Consumer Electronics Manufacturing Automation, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Assembly Automation, Testing Automation, Material Handling Systems, and Robotics.
• Exposure to smart phone, electronics, audio products, PCBA assembly, and consumer electronics manufacturing processes preferred.

Purpose of the Role
Develop competitive techno-commercial proposals for consumer electronics automation projects by analyzing customer requirements, conceptualizing automation solutions, preparing cost estimates, and supporting technical discussions to secure business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Study RFQs, customer specifications, and technical requirements.
• Develop automation concepts and solutions for consumer electronics manufacturing applications.
• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, cost estimates, and project budgets.
• Perform feasibility studies, cycle time analysis, and capacity calculations.
• Coordinate with Mechanical Design, Controls, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales teams.
• Support customers during technical discussions and proposal reviews.
• Obtain quotations from vendors and suppliers for costing purposes.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure timely submission of accurate and competitive proposals.

Candidates with proven experience in system engineering, machine architecture development, component selection and end-to-end solution conceptualization for Industrial Automation, Semiconductor Equipment, Robotics Integration, SPMs, or Consumer Electronics Manufacturing Automation will be preferred.
