Lead KMM Engineer – KMM, Android, iOS IRC294950

Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Application Engineer with deep expertise in KMM (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile), Android and iOS to join our team. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining complex mobile applications and cross platform solutions

Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Experience in developing cross-platform applications using Kotlin Multiplatform technology stack.
• You have 3+ year of experience on either iOS development or Android development.
• Experience in Android/iOS app development and proficiency in Swift or Objective-C programming or Kotlin programming language.
• Have familiarity on Kotlin Multi-Platform library from JetBrains like Ktor, Coroutines and Kotlinx libraries.
• With a strong understanding of design patterns, candidates can analyze existing code and refine it to make it more e^icient and reusable.
• Experience building unit tests, mock tests and integrations tests on JVM or KMM or iOS.
• Experience with software development tools, including IDEs, build tools, and version control system.
• Experience using CI/CD systems for deployment and testing.
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate e^ectively with other developers, designers, and project managers.
• Nice to have hands on experience on writing and debugging code for software applications written in C/C++.
• Nice to have experience building modern declaration UI with Jetpack Compose or Swift UI or at least storyboard/XML UI.
• You are comfortable learning new technologies and development stacks.
• You have excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Job responsibilities As a Kotlin Multi-Platform developer you will write and maintain Kotlin code that can be shared across multiple platforms, such as Android, iOS, Web and Native platforms.
• Work closely with Android, iOS teams as well as Web teams SDK integration, building test applications, creating PRs on their repos for smooth and faster integration.
• You should be able to identify and resolve performance issues that could affect the usability and user experience of the final product.
• You should keep yourself informed about the latest developments in Kotlin and KMP, such as new features, libraries, and best practices, and incorporate them into your work.
• You should write unit tests and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the code and maintain technical documentation.
• Delivering features that are flexible, cost-effective, maintainable and long-lasting, atscale.
• Take ownership of the product, requirement building and what you build – contribute to patterns and principles.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• You would collaborate across teams and work with stakeholders to develop and integrate new features, and to design a user-friendly experience for our customers. What we offer
