About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer – Technical Lead to join the engineering team of a product-based organization in Pune.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of strong hands-on software development experience and should be currently working on Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Azure, SQL, and React.js.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. We are looking for someone who can contribute to application development while also providing technical direction, mentoring developers, participating in design discussions, and taking ownership of end-to-end technical deliverables.

Candidates must have official Technical Lead / Tech Lead experience and should be comfortable working in a product engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java Full Stack applications.
• Develop robust backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Build modern, responsive, and reusable frontend applications using React.js.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate backend services with frontend applications.
• Work with SQL databases, including query development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Develop, deploy, and support applications using Microsoft Azure.
• Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.
• Take ownership of technical solutions from design through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Lead technical implementation and provide guidance to development team members.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and architectural standards.
• Mentor developers and help the team resolve complex technical issues.
• Identify and address performance, scalability, reliability, and security concerns.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, technical discussions, and retrospectives.

Backend

• Strong hands-on experience with Java
• Spring Boot

• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles

Frontend

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• HTML5 / CSS3
• Frontend-backend API integration

Cloud

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
• Experience developing, deploying, or supporting applications in Azure
• Understanding of cloud-based application architecture

Database

• Strong experience with SQL

• Database troubleshooting and performance considerations

Development Practices

• Git / Version Control
• Unit testing and automated testing practices
• CI/CD
• Agile / Scrum methodology
• Code review and development best practices

Technical Leadership Requirements

The candidate must have official Technical Lead / Tech Lead experience.

The role requires experience in:

• Leading technical implementation for projects or application modules
• Making and contributing to technical design decisions
• Conducting code reviews
• Mentoring and guiding developers
• Troubleshooting complex technical problems
• Working closely with architects and other technical stakeholders
• Ensuring quality, scalability, maintainability, and performance of solutions
• Taking ownership of technical deliverables and driving them to completion

Note: This is a hands-on Technical Lead position and not a purely people-management role.

Experience Criteria

• 7–10 years of overall relevant software development experience
• Strong current hands-on experience with the required technology stack
• Current/recent project experience should include a combination of:
  Java + Spring Boot + Microservices + React.js + Azure + SQL
• Prior experience as an official Technical Lead / Tech Lead is mandatory.
