Job Summary
We are hiring a senior Lead Investment professional to drive investment strategy, M&A, project evaluation, financial modelling, deal structuring and portfolio management for large-scale industrial businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead investment strategy, capital allocation and investment planning.
- Identify and evaluate new investments, acquisitions, JVs and strategic opportunities.
- Lead M&A, valuation, due diligence and deal structuring.
- Evaluate large-scale CAPEX, greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Develop and review financial models and investment proposals.
- Analyse IRR, NPV, ROI, cash flows and project profitability.
- Conduct financial and commercial due diligence.
- Prepare Investment Committee / Board-level presentations and recommendations.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify value-creation opportunities.
- Lead negotiations with investors, promoters, financial institutions and strategic partners.
- Analyse market, industry and commodity trends to support investment decisions.
Mandatory Industry Experience
Strong experience in one or more of:
Metals & Mining | Coal Mining | Iron & Steel | Aluminium | Oil & Gas | Petrochemicals | Chemicals | Heavy Engineering | Natural Resources
Required Experience
- 18+ years in Investment, M&A, Corporate Finance, Project Finance, Investment Banking or Private Equity.
- Strong experience in large-ticket investments and complex transactions.
- Hands-on expertise in Financial Modelling, Valuation, M&A, Due Diligence, Deal Structuring and Project Evaluation.
- Strong commercial, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Experience presenting to Senior Management / Investment Committee / Board.
Qualification
CA / CFA / MBA Finance / Master's in Finance, Economics or related field preferred.
Strict Screening
Candidates without relevant experience in Metals & Mining, Coal, Iron & Steel, Aluminium, Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals or Chemicals will NOT be considered.
Generic Finance, Accounting, Treasury or Reporting profiles without strong Investment / M&A / Project Finance experience will not be considered.
