Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Responsibilities

We seek a skilled and experienced Lead Infrastructure Engineer to become part of our vibrant team. In this role, you will develop and deploy scalable ServiceNow solutions, direct integration architecture, manage CMDB governance, and guarantee platform performance, security, and operational excellence worldwide.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership capabilities, hands-on development experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with collaborators across business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development

• Build, develop, and implement high-quality ServiceNow solutions bringing to bear:
• Flow Designer
• Business Rules
• Client Scripts
• UI Policies
• Script Includes
• Catalog Items
• Service Portal Components
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development guidelines and coding standards.
• Conduct peer code reviews and provide technical mentorship to development teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient platform improvements.
• Evaluate and implement new ServiceNow capabilities and platform features.
  
  

Integrations & Architecture

• Architect, build, and implement complex integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems.
• Develop and support integrations using:
• REST APIs
• SOAP Web Services
• JDBC Connections
• MID Servers
• IntegrationHub
• Transform Maps
• Import Sets
• Build secure, reliable, and scalable data exchange mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Develop integration patterns and integration governance standards.
  
  

CMDB, Discovery & Service Mapping

• Lead CMDB build, implementation, and governance initiatives.
• Manage and optimize:
• CMDB
• Discovery
• Service Mapping
• CSDM (Common Service Data Model)
• Establish data quality standards, governance policies, and lifecycle management processes.
• Drive CMDB accuracy, completeness, and service visibility across the enterprise.
• Implement guidelines for configuration item (CI) management and reconciliation.
  
  

Performance & Optimization

• Analyze and improve ServiceNow platform performance.
• Optimize:
• Scripts
• Queries
• Workflows
• Integrations
• Platform configurations
• Conduct platform health checks and performance assessments.
• Recommend and implement improvements to improve scalability and maintainability.

• Hands-on experience across the following ServiceNow capabilities:
• Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
• Discovery
• Service Mapping
• ITSM
• Reporting & Analytics
• IntegrationHub
• CSDM Implementation and Governance
