Lead I - Software Testing (Automation testing + API Automation + Healthcare)

Role Description

Job Title: QA Automation Engineer (API Testing - Java, Rest Assured, Selenium, Healthcare FHIR) Job Summary We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in API testing using Rest Assured and Java, along with exposure to Selenium. The role focuses on validating healthcare applications and FHIR-based API integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing of REST APIs
• Validate API payloads, headers, authentication, and responses
• Execute end-to-end integration testing across healthcare workflows
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance in healthcare systems
• Create and maintain test cases, test data, and reports
• Identify and track defects using tools like JIRA
• Collaborate with development and integration teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java + Rest Assured (mandatory)
• Hands-on experience in API testing (REST/JSON/XML)
• Basic to good experience in Selenium (for automation framework support/integration)
• Knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, and API validations
• Experience in automation frameworks (TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber)
• Exposure to CI/CD (Jenkins, Git, Maven)

Healthcare / Domain Skills

• Experience in Healthcare domain
• Strong knowledge of FHIR / HL7 standards
• Experience validating FHIR APIs (JSON payloads, schema validation)
• Understanding of integration and interoperability workflows
