About this role
Role Description Job Location: Kochi, Trivandrum, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Pune, Noida We are seeking an experienced API Automation Engineer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated tests for RESTful services. The candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js and JavaScript-based automation frameworks, ensuring high-quality API performance, reliability, and scalability. Candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines and drive quality across the SDLC
Mandatory Skills
- 5–7 years of QA/Automation experience with strong focus on API testing
- Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js
- Hands-on experience with API automation tools/frameworks:
- Bruno/ Postman
- Strong understanding of:
- RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, status codes
- JSON / XML validation
