Lead I - SE- Android Dev

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer with 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Jetpack Compose, Android application architecture, API integrations, and cloud-native development practices.

You will work closely with product owners, designers, backend engineers, and QA teams to deliver scalable and user-centric mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces following Material Design principles.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Collaborate with backend teams to define and consume APIs.
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement offline storage, caching, and synchronization mechanisms.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce Android development best practices.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automated deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver features and enhancements.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Expertise in Android Studio and Android SDK.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Good understanding of Android Architecture Components (MVVM, LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room).
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt/Dagger.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Docker and containerized development environments.
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD practices.
• Database Storage SQLite / Room Database
• Local caching and offline-first application design
• Testing Unit Testing and UI Testing (JUnit, Espresso)
• Debugging and performance optimization

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Firebase services.
• Experience working with AWS mobile services.
• Exposure to modular architecture and clean architecture principles.
• Familiarity with monitoring and analytics tools.
