Lead - GIS & Mission Visualization

Role & responsibilities

• Develop 2D/3D Common Operating Picture and deployment-planning environment.
• Display terrain, protected assets, threat tracks, sensor/effector coverage, geofences, CDEZ, engagement zones and no-fly areas.
• Implement track history, predicted trajectory, alerts, timeline/replay and after-action review.
• Support mission planning and operator workflows for both live and simulated/training modes.
• Work with C2 Architect on performance and human-factors aspects of the operational HMI.

Preferred candidate profile (skills, projects etc.)

• Luciad, Cesium, Hexagon GIS, ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, GDAL, GeoJSON or comparable geospatial stacks.
• 2D/3D terrain rendering, map projections, spatial databases, coverage/visibility presentation and geofencing.
• UI frameworks such as Qt/QML, React, Angular, .NET/WPF or equivalent mission-system HMI technologies.
• Command-centre HMI, mission-planning system, air-defence display, tactical GIS, COP, surveillance dashboard or sensor-coverage visualisation.
• Operational clarity, decluttering and usability are as important as visual appearance.
