Lead Generation Specialist - IT Staff Augmentation

Role & responsibilities :

We are looking for a dynamic, target-oriented and experienced Lead Generation Executive to strengthen our Domestic IT Staffing business. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and generating qualified leads, connecting with potential corporate clients, understanding their IT hiring requirements, and creating a consistent pipeline of staffing opportunities.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in Domestic IT Staffing / Recruitment Sales / B2B IT Services Lead Generation and should preferably have an existing network of HR, Talent Acquisition, Hiring Managers, Procurement teams and other decision-makers within Indian organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate qualified B2B leads for Domestic IT Staffing and Recruitment services.
• Identify companies across India with ongoing or upcoming IT hiring requirements.
• Prospect and connect with HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Heads, HR Managers, Hiring Managers, CHROs, Procurement/Vendor Management teams, Founders and Business Heads.
• Generate leads through:
• Cold calling
• LinkedIn / LinkedIn Sales Navigator
• Email campaigns
• References and networking
• Industry databases and online research
• Existing professional connections
• Identify and generate requirements for:
• Permanent / FTE hiring
• Contract Staffing
• Contract-to-Hire (C2H)
• Staff Augmentation
• C2C, wherever applicable
• Understand client requirements, hiring volumes, technology requirements, locations, budgets and timelines.
• Qualify prospects based on their actual hiring potential and convert them into active staffing opportunities.
• Schedule meetings/calls between prospective clients and the Business Development/Sales team.
• Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects and ensure that leads move through the sales pipeline.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, contacts, requirements, follow-ups and opportunities in CRM/Excel.
• Work closely with the recruitment team to understand market demand and the availability of relevant talent.
• Monitor the domestic IT staffing market and identify new industries, companies and accounts with high hiring potential.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients and continuously develop new accounts.
• Achieve defined daily, weekly and monthly lead-generation KPIs.
• Provide regular MIS and pipeline reports to the management.

Preferred candidate profile :

• 35 years of experience in Lead Generation, Business Development, Inside Sales or Client Acquisition within Domestic IT Staffing / IT Recruitment / IT Services.
• Strong understanding of the Indian IT staffing and recruitment market.
• Proven experience in generating direct client leads and IT staffing requirements.
• Strong experience in cold calling and outbound B2B sales.
• Good knowledge of LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong follow-up, persuasion and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to identify the right decision-makers within organizations.
• Good understanding of IT technologies and common technology hiring requirements.
• Experience working with CRM tools, Excel and lead-generation databases.
• Highly target-oriented, proactive and self-motivated.
