Role Overview

We are looking for a Market Research & Lead Generation Executive to support our marketing and business development activities through industry research, database development, prospect identification and qualified lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market and industry research to identify potential customers, OEMs, manufacturers, EPCs, distributors and industrial buyers.

Build and maintain a comprehensive database of target companies across Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, Defence, Heavy Engineering, Off-Highway and Process Industries.

Identify key decision-makers including Procurement, Purchase, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Development, Supply Chain and Engineering professionals.

Generate qualified B2B leads through LinkedIn, Volza, Google Search, company websites, industry directories and other research platforms.

Research companies, their products, applications, industries served and potential requirements for AFPL products.

Identify prospects for flanges, forgings, rings, forged components and exotic/special alloy products.

Support LinkedIn and email outreach by providing relevant and verified prospect information.

Maintain accurate and updated lead databases/CRM, including company details, contact information, decision-makers, lead source and follow-up status.

Coordinate with the Sales team to provide qualified leads and relevant market intelligence.

Conduct competitor and market mapping to identify new customers, industries and geographical opportunities.

Track lead-generation activities, responses, and meetings.

Prepare regular reports on database growth, qualified leads, market research and lead-generation performance.

Required Skills

Strong market and internet research skills.

Experience in B2B lead generation and database development.

Capability and confidence to conduct professional telecalling with prospects, introduce the company, understand requirements and qualify potential leads.

Knowledge of Volza or similar B2B research platforms will be an advantage.

Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and CRM tools.

Strong analytical and data-management skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Strong follow-up and coordination skills.
