A commerce platform is Looking for:****

Senior / Lead Full-Stack Engineer — Commerce & Payments Platform We’re looking for a senior engineer to help maintain, improve, and continuously evolve an already functioning commerce/payments platform in the alcohol industry. The platform is live and working. It powers brand storefronts, retailer-connected checkout, creator/affiliate commerce, inventory-aware product finders, order routing, and reporting across pickup, shipping, and local delivery. We are not starting from scratch — we need someone who can step into an existing product, understand the architecture, keep it stable, and help us enrich features as the business grows. The founder is very product-driven and will be closely guiding priorities, workflows, UX improvements, and feature direction. In many cases, front-end concepts, mockups, and early working versions are being built through vibe coding. The ideal person can take that direction, clean it up, connect it properly to the backend, improve the architecture where needed, and turn it into reliable production software.

What you’ll own:

• Maintaining and improving an existing live platform
• Turning founder-led product direction into clean, scalable software
• Full-stack development across checkout, dashboards, admin tools, product finders, and brand/retailer workflows
• Improving backend logic, database structure, APIs, integrations, and deployment reliability
• Connecting and refining front-end concepts built through vibe coding
• Enhancing payments, order routing, creator attribution, retailer inventory, and reporting systems
• QA, documentation, performance optimisation, and ongoing technical decision-making

Ideal background: Experience maintaining and improving marketplace, fintech, e-commerce, logistics, payments, or SaaS platforms. Relevant company backgrounds could include Razorpay, Stripe, Uber, Swiggy, Zomato, Flipkart, Shopify, Atlassian, PayU, PhonePe, Amazon, Walmart Labs, Freshworks, Zoho, or similar.

What we’re looking for:

• Senior full-stack engineer, lead engineer, or architect-level builder
• Strong backend, database, API, and frontend product experience
• Comfortable stepping into an existing codebase and improving it without overcomplicating it
• Able to move fast while keeping systems stable, maintainable, and secure
• Clear communicator who provides visibility into progress, blockers, and technical tradeoffs
• Startup-minded, practical, and comfortable working closely with a product-heavy founder
• Bonus: experience with payments, marketplaces, Shopify, Stripe, attribution, inventory, or logistics
