About this role
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade full-stack applications in a regulated medical-device environment.
- Develop modern web applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SCSS, and enterprise UI component libraries.
- Design and implement scalable, asynchronous backend services using Python, FastAPI, and Uvicorn.
- Develop RESTful and streaming APIs, including Server-Sent Events (SSE), and integrate frontend, backend, and external platforms.
- Design and manage application databases using PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, or MongoDB.
- Build and integrate AI/LLM-powered workflows and AI-agent solutions using technologies such as LangChain and CrewAI.
- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, including Azure App Service, Functions, Virtual Machines, Cosmos DB, and other IaaS/PaaS services.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support application deployment, upgrades, fixes, and patches.
- Participate in technical evaluations, architecture decisions, solution design, and application performance/scalability improvements.
- Troubleshoot application, database, network, storage, installation, availability, performance, and scalability issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality, information security, data privacy, and regulated software development practices.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, developers, designers, project managers, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of modern technologies within the AI/GenAI team.
- 8-12 years of experience in software development and full-stack application development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python and FastAPI.
- Strong experience with Angular and TypeScript, with good knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, and SCSS.
- Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs, asynchronous services, and enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and deploying/managing cloud-based applications using Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Cosmos DB/MongoDB.
- Experience with Generative AI, LLM integration, AI agents, LangChain, CrewAI, or similar AI frameworks is highly desirable.
- Exposure to Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, RAG, or Databricks will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of RDF, SPARQL, or enterprise Knowledge Graph platforms is preferred.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and production deployment/support.
- Experience working in SAFe / Scaled Agile Framework or other enterprise Agile environments.
- Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or other regulated software development environments is an advantage.
- BE/BTech/MS/MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Self-driven, curious, and comfortable taking ownership of complex technical challenges.
