Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with the engineering teams to help solve business problems
- Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team''s deliverables
- Write high quality distributed system software
- Decompose complex problems into simple, straight-forward solutions
- Perform code review and mentor junior engineers
- Should be flexible, adapting to meet the needs of the team, project, or product
- Mentoring and developing other engineers on the team
- Participate in the entire software development lifecycle - design, implementation, testing, CI/CD and production operations
- Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor''s degree in computer science or related field
- 10+ years of industry experience as a Software Engineer or a Software Developer
- 2+ years of experience working in any cloud environment - Azure, AWS, GCP
- Good knowledge on technology stack like Java (Spring Boot), REST APIs, Python,
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing, and operations
- Knowledge or working experience in AI/ML
- Solid computer science and development fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis
