Location Requirement: This is a Work From Office (WFO) role in Mohali. We are currently considering candidates who are already based in Punjab and can commute/relocate to Mohali at their own expense.

About the role:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-driven financial professional with strong experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), along with exposure to Investment Banking (IB), Transaction Advisory Services (TAS), and Financial Due Diligence (FDD). The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, handling multiple priorities while delivering high-quality financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

· Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making

· Analyze historical financial data, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements

· Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts

· Collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

· Lead and streamline the cost analysis process, ensuring adherence to policies and controls

· Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term planning models

· Conduct market research, industry analysis, and valuation benchmarking (comps)

· Support transaction-related activities, including:

· Financial Due Diligence (FDD)

· Deal evaluation and analysis

· Investment memos and presentations

· Apply experience from IB/TAS engagements to provide deeper insights into financial performance and deal dynamics

· Identify and drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives

· Develop dashboards, reports, and MIS using advanced Excel and BI tools

· Track operational and financial metrics and provide insights for business optimization

· Ensure quality review and mentorship of junior analysts work

Required Skills & Experience:

· MBA in Finance / Accounting / Economics / Statistics (preferred)

· Relevant experience in Investment Banking (IB), Transaction Advisory (TAS), or Financial Due Diligence (FDD) is mandatory

· Strong hands-on experience in:

· Financial modeling

· Valuation (DCF, comps, etc.)

· Financial analysis and forecasting

· Proven experience in a quantitative and analytical role

· Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business drivers

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)

· Experience with tools like Power BI / SQL / financial databases (good to have)

· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

· Ability to work in a high-pressure, client-driven environment

· Self-starter with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
