Lead - Financial Analysis & MIS

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose: -

The role is integral in driving strategic financial initiatives, ensuring compliance, and supporting

the leadership team with accurate and timely financial insights to aid in decision-making.

Job Description: -

To support and enhance the finance and accounts functions through effective financial analysis, cost control, process improvements, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibility: -

• Key Responsibilities:

1. Financials Analysis & MIS: Preparation of monthly Executive MIS for review by CEO, CFO & Chairman. Analysis of financial Statement to draw actionable insights with accuracy and timeliness. Review of GLs to identify and address the long open items.

2. Cost Analysis & Budgeting: Analysis of monthly cost sheets to explain the variations wrt plan, flag the red issues to senior management and implement cost control mechanisms. Assist in preparation of Monthly & Annual budget.

3. Project Management: Assist in managing special projects, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.

4. Financial control & Process Improvement: Identify the gaps in the current accounting system and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department.

5. Meeting Coordination & Administrative Support: Prepare agendas, take minutes, and distribute relevant documents for meetings. Manage the VP's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.

6. Team Collaboration: Support the finance team with administrative tasks and assist in onboarding new team members.

7. Risks Coordinator: Actively participate & close the Enterprise Risk Management tasks which includes Risk register preparation, Risk Assessments, establishing control mechanisms and conducting Risk Committee Meetings.

8. Shared Services: To work closely with the Shared Services team for smooth transactions support and controls.

• Skill Set:

1. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly.

2. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and Good knowledge of SAP

3. Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards;

4. Various ad hoc analysis and process improvement projects to drive efficiency in accounting work;
