Lead Engineer

We are looking forward to hiring a Lead(IC) for the Python Infra team. The team build the proprietary, firmwide-used Python infrastructure that powers trading, research, and operations, with full ownership over performance-critical systems and hands-on work with cutting-edge low-level optimisation techniques. The position is open in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Gurugram. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact, high-visibility projects, take on genuinely challenging technical problems, and own your work end-to-end using the latest technologies. The team builds and maintains the core Python systems underpinning mission-critical applications across trading, research, and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Building infrastructure tools and frameworks for analytical computation, distributed data storage, and data services in Python.
• Creating high-performance data structures and analysis libraries for large-scale data.
• Implementing parallel and distributed computing solutions (leveraging the firm's compute grid).
• Building internal server frameworks that let other teams deploy their own Python-based web services.
• Optimising performance-critical Python components using C/C++, Cython, and JIT compilation techniques.
