Lead Engineer

We are seeking a Technical Lead / Full-Stack Developer to build enterprise-grade financial applications. You will lead a small team (3-5 developers) and leverage a modern tech stack (. NET, Python, React, SQL) alongside deep Capital Markets expertise to deliver scalable, high-volume, and compliance-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Delivery: Lead a team of 3-5 developers through the end-to-end Agile SDLC, collaborating closely with QA, Product, and Business teams.
• Full-Stack Development: Design and build applications using C#, . NET/. NET Core, and Python/Django for the backend, alongside React for the frontend.
• API and Mobile: Develop robust RESTful APIs and contribute to/oversee mobile app development (Android, iOS, or Hybrid).
• Database Management: Architect, optimise, and maintain MSSQL databases, focusing on complex queries, stored procedures, and high-volume transaction tuning.
• Financial Systems Architecture: Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions supporting Capital Markets (equity trading, derivatives, fund management, and clearing).

Requirements:

• Backend Stack: Strong hands-on experience with C#. NET/. NET Core, ASP. NET MVC, Python, and Django.
• Frontend and Mobile: Expertise in React, JavaScript/HTML/CSS, and exposure to mobile development (Native or cross-platform like React Native/Xamarin).
• Database: Advanced MSSQL skills (query optimisation, triggers, functions, security, and backup/recovery).
• Domain Knowledge (Must Have): Proven experience in Asset Servicing and Capital Markets, with a deep understanding of equity/derivatives lifecycles, fund management, and post-trade processes.
• Delivery and Soft Skills: Strong experience in Agile/Scrum, defect triaging, production support, and stakeholder communication.

Nice to Have:

• Industry Experience: Background in banks, brokerages, AMCs, or building regulatory/compliance-driven systems.
• Modern Architecture: Familiarity with microservices, API-first design, CI/CD, DevOps, and Cloud environments (Azure / AWS).
