Lead Engineer

An AI-powered platform that helps businesses automate sales, customer support, and operations using intelligent AI agents. Own the technical architecture and engineering direction for key AI-powered products and platforms. Design and build scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend and AI systems. Lead the development of LLM/AI capabilities, from experimentation through production deployment. Drive technical decisions around architecture, infrastructure, APIs, data, models, and system reliability. Build production-grade AI systems with strong focus on quality, latency, scalability, cost, and reliability. Identify technical risks and proactively improve system architecture and engineering processes. Work closely with product, design, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions. Mentor engineers through design reviews, code reviews, technical discussions, and hands-on guidance. Establish engineering best practices around testing, observability, deployment, security, and operational excellence. Own end-to-end delivery of complex technical initiatives and ensure high engineering standards. Stay current with advances in AI/ML, LLMs, agentic systems, and modern software engineering and identify opportunities to apply them to the product. We are looking for a Lead Engineer who combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on AI/ML and LLM experience. You will own critical technical decisions, lead the design and development of scalable systems, and work closely with product and engineering teams to turn complex problems into reliable, production-grade solutions. This role is ideal for a highly technical engineer who enjoys building from the ground up, solving ambiguous problems, mentoring engineers, and taking ownership of AI-powered products and infrastructure.
